General Manager

Salata General Managers are chefs, bankers, trainers, schedulers, administrators, and leaders. They both lead and choose the restaurant teams – managing, training and scheduling all staff – and oversee all restaurant administration, maintaining the restaurant’s operational systems, overseeing financial reporting and banking, and ensuring Salata’s food quality is of the highest standard and guests are happy.

What’s Required: General Managers keep the guests happy and the restaurants humming with excellent customer service skills, an eye for perfection and cleanliness, excellent organizational skills and a positive attitude. Management experience is required and a sound background in hiring, financial reporting, and operations is a plus.

Shift Lead

Salata Shift Leads have the training to run all day-to-day operations of our busy restaurants, including training, team development, food preparation and safety and administrative duties. As the go-to team member, they manage both guest and team member questions with ease.

What’s Required: Restaurant experience is a plus and some experience with office equipment is required. Our Shift Leaders know how to work under pressure, are skilled in customer service, are good communicators and trainers and, most importantly, lead by their excellent example.

Salad Experts

Our Salad Experts are the face of Salata – and its arms, hands, and legs. They keep everything clean, fresh and appealing to our guests and deliver customer service with a smile. Duties include dicing, chopping, and grating of all our fresh ingredients, preparation of our warm soups and side items, serving, greeting guests, cashiering and dining room bussing.

What’s Required: Past restaurant experience isn’t necessary, but Salad Experts should love preparing fresh food using recipes, enjoy working with a team, have good communication skills, a professional appearance, and a willingness to learn and do it all.


The backbone of our restaurant operations, our team of bussers deliver what our guests expect from Salata – the best service possible and a spotless kitchen and dining area. Salata bussers keep the dishes clean, the dining room spotless and keep the beverages flowing.

What’s Required: Past restaurant experience isn’t necessary, but busser candidates should have good communication skills, a professional appearance, a positive attitude and a heart for service.
